Registered Nurse - Stepdown & MedSurg

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Stepdown and MedSurg setting. The nurse will monitor and assess patient conditions, provide treatment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Providing patient education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience in a MedSurg or Stepdown unit preferred.
