About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Accounting and Financial Reporting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including producing monthly GAAP financial statements, overseeing multi-entity accounting operations, and leading annual audits. This role requires a hands-on approach to day-to-day accounting functions, such as general ledger activity, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and close processes. The VP will also be involved in ERP and process optimization, supporting NetSuite initiatives, and leading accounting integration for acquisitions and strategic growth. Applicants for the VP of Accounting and Financial Reporting position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and a CPA designation. A minimum of 5 years of accounting leadership experience in multi-entity, investment-backed, or complex operating environments is essential. The role demands a candidate with strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in GAAP reporting, consolidations, and audit management. Experience with NetSuite is required, and a background in ERP implementation, advanced Excel skills, and exposure to automation or AI-driven accounting tools are preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, and demonstrate an operational mindset with a willingness to be hands-on in accounting operations.
