Quality Technician

Quality TechnicianGreen Bay Packaging is seeking a Quality Technician to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet strict customer and regulatory standards. In this on-site role, you will perform in-process and final inspections on corrugated packaging and paperboard products, using measurement tools, gauges, and testing methods. You will document results, identify nonconformances, assist with root cause analysis, and support corrective actions. Working closely with production teams, you'll help drive continuous improvement, maintain a safe workplace, and contribute to sustainable, high-quality packaging solutions in a stable, growth-focused environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process and final inspections on corrugated packaging and paperboard productsConduct dimensional, visual, and functional tests using gauges and measurement toolsDocument inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions in quality systemsAssist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment per quality proceduresSupport adherence to ISO/quality standards and customer specificationsCollaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processesParticipate in safety, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives on the plant floorPrepare quality reports and communicate findings to supervisors and engineeringRequired SkillsQuality inspectionMeasurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Statistical Process Control (SPC)Root cause analysisCorrective and preventive actions (CAPA)ISO/quality management systemsBlueprint and specification readingData entry and reportingMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word)
