Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.What You'll Get to DoThe Material Handler 1 is focused on moving materials using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process and reports to the Department Supervisor.This role is perfect for an individual with a strong attention to detail particularly in areas of safety, quality, and efficiency, strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment. A vital member of the Shipping Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.Job responsibilities include:The ability to perform tasks safely, adhere to all safety policies and procedures and correct or report hazards in the workplaceUnderstand and apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or productsPerform preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting.
