This position involves floating between various medical and surgical units within the facility, providing patient care on a 12-hour night shift schedule. The role requires adherence to specific unit protocols and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 to 07:15), scheduled for 36 hours per week following the initial orientation period. No guarantee of hours. Required Qualifications: Valid Hawaii state licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); 0+ years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), Procedural Sedation, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course). Units: Medical Unit (77 beds), Laulima Surgical Acute Unit (18 beds), Cardiovascular Unit (15 beds). Nurse to patient ratio: Medical - 1:6 (day and evening shifts), 1:8 (night shift); Laulima - 1:6; Cardiovascular - 1:4; ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves. Equipment utilized: Meditech Electronic Medical Records, Pyxis medications, wound vacuums, chest tubes. Additional Information: Orientation is provided for each unit. Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment.
