Job Summary

We are seeking a Scanning Data Entry Operator for an onsite temp-to-hire opportunity in El Paso, TX. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional who enjoys structured, hands-on work, repetitive processes, and meeting daily production goals in a fast-paced document processing environment.

The Scanning Data Entry Operator will support high-volume document imaging, scanning, indexing, quality assurance, mail handling, and records processing. This is a great opportunity to join a professional team with supportive leadership, clear procedures, and the potential for long-term conversion after the contract period. Candidates who are dependable, organized, flexible with scheduling, and comfortable handling confidential materials will be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, sort, unbox, scan, index, and quality-check high volumes of documents using document imaging equipment.
- Perform accurate data entry and update chain of custody or tracking systems for incoming documents, boxes, pallets, and mail.
- Re-scan, file, re-box, archive, and move documents as needed to support daily production and operational goals.
- Receive, sort, and process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, boxes, and document shipments.
- Maintain confidentiality and security standards when handling sensitive materials and client records.
- Provide professional customer service and assist with front office or back office coverage as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Contract length: 6 months, with possible conversion.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Work location: Onsite in El Paso, TX.
- Initial schedule: Employees are currently requested to start at 9:00 a.m. for the first couple of weeks.
- Flexibility required: Schedule may be adjusted after the initial period based on operational needs, with start times varying and possibly beginning as late as 2:00 p.m.
