Job Description Job Description \n \n \nThe DSC Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe operating condition of our Fredericksburg Distribution Center. The DSC maintenance technician must be a self-directed individual and have proven knowledge of electrical systems installation and repair.\n \n Additional Information: \n \n \nSchedule: 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am \n \n \nShift Differential: $1.00/Hour \n \n \nThis position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.\n \n \nJob duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors\n \n Responsibilities \n \n \n \n HVAC Responsibilities \n Robot Maintenance and Troubleshooting \n Maintenance, Troubleshooting and repair of equipment, including forklifts, hi-lifts, and order pickers, wrappers, vacu-hoists, etc. \n Perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned \n Perform carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, and plumbing tasks as needed. \n Perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance and repair of the DSC and its systems, including fire and security systems. (Including Security Gates and Systems) \n Maintenance on Dock Doors and Dock Plates \n Monitoring and Maintenance of Building and Grounds as Needed (Including Snow Removal Responsibilities) \n \n \n Qualifications \n \n Minimum Requirements: \n \n \n Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age \n Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future \n Must have two (2) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment \n Must have one (1) year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts \n \n \n Preferred Qualifications: \n \n \n Have at least three (3) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment \n Have an industrial, electrical, and/or welding certification or license \n Have formal training in or one (1) year of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) \n \n \n About Us \n \n \nAt Sherwin-Williams, our purpose is to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters.
