About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Clinical experience with cardiovascular surgeries - Ability to scrub for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in cardiovascular operating room settings. The candidate should possess skills in various cardiothoracic procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacements, and other advanced cardiovascular interventions. A clinical screen will be conducted to determine candidate fit. The role involves rotating weekend schedules, and call requirements may vary, typically necessitating one weekday call and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks. Travelers are expected to work during major holidays, with specific guidelines on holiday availability noted in the contract. Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to ensure timely onboarding. Candidates must be prepared to submit core items and complete any necessary procedures to start the contract. Please note, locals may be accepted. Modules may be required during the orientation process. Flexibility regarding RTO is essential, as the unit has specific guidelines for time off requests. Management reserves the right to adjust scheduling to meet unit needs.
