Radiology Tech

This position is for a Radiology Tech in a fast-paced environment. The facility has a high volume of patients each day, averaging 350-400. The department has multiple X-ray suites and operates various imaging technologies. You will encounter a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics, from different units. This is a teaching facility, and you will see high-acuity patients. You will rotate between areas such as the emergency department, operating room, and main X-ray department. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are essential. Good communication skills and a helpful attitude are strongly preferred. You may be required to precept radiology students based on your experience. The department is supported by lead techs and supervisors available 24/7. You will work closely with medical residents and fellows in a teamwork-oriented culture. No weekend rotation between weekdays and weekends; you will maintain a consistent schedule. There are no call requirements or holiday expectations beyond normal scheduled days. Scrubs will be provided for operating room assignments. The department encourages good teamwork and high clinical skill sets in a dynamic environment.
