- Contract Duration: 5 months (possible extension; potential to convert to full-time permanent)
- Pay Rate: $27.00$28.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Overtime: Overtime available

Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. You will be working at a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility, reporting to the Hard Services Supervisor on a team that consists of Maintenance Mechanics, HVAC Techs, Plumbers, and Electricians. A typical working day involves performing Preventative Maintenance and repairs, including Fit & Finish work, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems; exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties, methods, and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Required Skills
- Commercial / Industrial experience
- Ability to use a CMMS system and Email
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- OSHA 10 Construction certification (preferred but not necessary)
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school / apprenticeship program diploma with 12 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in a relevant maintenance role
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility / Office environment
- Must meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Background check: CBRE Safety Specific with drug screen required
