Position Overview The Restaurant Team Member role is a versatile food service position involving responsibilities across multiple stations, including Fountain & Frozen, Food Production, Grill, Fryer, Switchboard, and Drive-Thru (if applicable). As a key part of our team, you'll be at the heart of the SONIC experience. Responsibilities Taking orders and providing quick, accurate change Serving food with enthusiasm and courtesy Packaging menu items and ensuring quality and consistency Preparing drinks and ice cream treats Cooking on the grill, operating fry stations, and preparing food orders Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, dishwashing, and sanitizing food areas Requirements Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Flexibility to adapt to restaurant needs Effective communication skills, basic math, and reading skills Willingness to adhere to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards General knowledge of food service or retail preferred but not required Minimum age: 16 years old Additional Qualities Friendly, welcoming, and customer-focused attitude Willingness to cross-train across stations Team player committed to cleanliness and safety Fast food experience is a plus but not necessary Join us and be part of the groovy SONIC Drive-In experience!
