Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and drive for excellence make a real impact? Join our team as a Shift Production Operator at our client location in Spring Lake, MI and become an essential part of the plastic extrusion process!

• Contract to hire
• Pay rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
• 1st Shift $17.00,  Mon – Fri 7:05AM – 3:05PM, 2nd Shift $17.50, Mon – Fri, 3:05PM - 11:05PM, 3rd Shift $18.00, Sun – Thur, 11:05 PM - 7:05AM - occasional overtime

As a Production Operator, you’ll take charge of efficient set-ups, manage material usage, and oversee changeovers to keep production running smoothly. You’ll conduct dimensional and visual inspections, implement corrective actions, and ensure every finished product meets the highest quality standards. Not only will you document measurements and production data using the PDQCR system, but you’ll also play a key role in preparing goods for shipment, labeling and packaging with precision, and addressing non-conforming products.
We’re searching for communicators, problem-solvers, team players, and those ready to think on their feet!
Skills & Requirements:

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet standards
• Familiarity with quality tools and systems
• Capable of basic computer data entry and system navigation
• Troubleshooting abilities with suggestions for improvement

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of manufacturing experience
• Good work history in manufacturing
• Prior machine operator experience is preferred
