Customer Service Representative
Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Customs Brokerage / Logistics Payrate: $16/hr. -$17/hr. Schedule: Monday Friday from 12:00pm -9:00pm available to Support OT on Saturdays Position could become full time with the company
Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as a key liaison between the company and its clients. This position provides exceptional customer service, assists with account setup and inquiries, coordinates shipment information, and helps resolve customer issues accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers.
- Assist with new customer onboarding and account setup.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding customer accounts and inquiries.
- Manage Continuous and Single Transaction Bond activities, as applicable.
- Assist clients with import/export clearance through the applicable border.
- Respond promptly and professionally to shipment status inquiries.
- Review and prepare orders according to customer requirements.
- Monitor orders through completion and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of customs brokerage or logistics experience.
- CCS Designation preferred/required for applicable US Northern Border and Canadian operations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience completing complex customs entries.
- Knowledge of Mexican Foreign Trade legislation preferred for applicable positions.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
