Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: Weekend: Every other weekend coverage required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience
• RN licensure in the state or Compact license required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Epic experience required
• Preferred experience in Trauma Level I or II and community hospital setting

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Conduct emergency triage and general emergency department care.
• Manage care for ventilated patients and monitor vital signs.
• Administer IV vasopressors and continuous IV sedation as required.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arterial blood gas results.
• Implement isolation precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours (non-billable orientation hours may vary)
• Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract.
• All compliance documents are due by the Tuesday prior to start.
• Travelers expected to work major holidays per policy.
