Job Description

Promote and maintain an outstanding customer experience that can only be found at Als Garden and Home for all guests who enter the retail location. Responsible for receiving, shipping, counting and tagging inventory. Maintains in depth knowledge of receiving software with the ability to self-serve and help teammates who have questions. Stocks inventory. Keeps receiving area tidy to reduce hazards in the workplace. Ability to operate forklift equipment, manual pallet jacks and push carts to and from destination. Ability to act as a floater to different stores as the need arises. Works cross functionally with office staff to handle any receiving discrepancies. Processes damaged items. Unloads trucks. Assists with year-end inventory and cycle counts. Performs all other duties as assigned. Embrace a safety culture of injury and accident prevention by following safety policies and procedures. Assist with all other related tasks or duties as assigned by Business Operations Manager. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Skills Forklift experience preferred. Retail experience a plus. Plant knowledge a plus. Strong computer a must. Strong communication a must. Ability to be flexible and adaptable. Strong problem-solving ability. Willingness to learn. Must come to work with a positive attitude and work as a team player.

Physical Demands This job requires the ability to work standing, walking, bending, and lifting 50 + lbs. continuously throughout the day.

Work Environment This job can operate in a warehouse, indoor and outdoor retail space, and in an office environment as business requires.
