Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB-GYN Physician to join a healthcare team in Carroll, Iowa . This is an excellent opportunity for a physician interested in providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The physician will provide prenatal care, participate in deliveries, manage gynecologic conditions, perform appropriate procedures, and provide comprehensive women s healthcare.

Call: Hospital call coverage required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB-GYN care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform examinations, consultations, screenings, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Provide prenatal, postpartum, and routine gynecologic care.
• Participate in deliveries and manage obstetric patients.
• Diagnose and treat gynecologic and obstetric conditions.
• Perform procedures within the physician s scope of practice.
• Provide reproductive health and family-planning counseling.
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.
• Collaborate with nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, and other healthcare
• professionals.
• Participate in hospital call coverage.
• Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and continuing education activities.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited OB-GYN residency program
• .Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Active or eligible Iowa medical license .
• DEA certification .
• CSA certification as applicable.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current NRP and PALS certification.
• STABLE certification preferred/required as applicable.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
