RN - Hospice

Role Overview This position involves providing direct and indirect quality care to patients of all ages within a hospice setting, following the nursing process and Nurse Practice Act. The nurse manages a caseload, coordinates care with the healthcare team, and travels to see patients in Jackson and Josephine counties. They work under the supervision of the Hospice Clinical Supervisor and on physician orders, ensuring patient comfort and supporting a peaceful end-of-life experience. Responsibilities Assessing patient needs and delivering personalized care Collaborating with healthcare team members Managing a patient caseload within the service area Providing education and support to families Documenting care and maintaining compliance with regulations Qualifications & Skills Oregon RN license and BLS certification At least 1 year of medical/surgical, acute care, or long-term care experience Experience in end-of-life (EOL) care Preferred: recent oncology, home hospice, or home health experience Additional Information Compensation includes a base pay range of $41.56 - $64.52 hourly, with potential additional incentives.
