About our Firm:


We are small and we are local. VBA's staff members enjoy having the privilege of working in an environment where we are able to get to know one another and work closely together to ensure that our clients benefit from the expertise of the firm as a whole.

We provide an alternative to the big firm environment. Our atmosphere is fun, straightforward, and family friendly. We intend to keep our operation simple and focused on the needs of our clients.

About the Position:


The ideal candidate will have experience in performing audits, reviews and compilations and be able to assist in planning, risk assessment and performing attestation engagements. This person will be responsible for various facets of the attestation engagement, including preparation of financial statements. A basic understanding of GAAP and GAAS is required. Position is not remote, full-time in office required.


Qualifications

  • Current CPA license a plus
  • 2 - 8 years of recent public accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus
  • Knowledge of CCH Engagement and PPC Smart Practice Aids a plus
