The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Grandville seeking Payroll Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Reconcile payroll data and general ledger accounts.
- Manage timekeeping system and resolve discrepancies.
- Administer employee benefits deductions and remittances.
- Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3+ years experience processing payroll for 500+ employees, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday) and timekeeping systems.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax laws and wage garnishments.
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing and compliance.
- Ability to accurately calculate and reconcile payroll, including complex compensation structures and shift differentials.
