Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are working with companies in Allendale that are adding Payroll Specialists to their teams. These organizations value quality over speed in hiring. By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
- Administer timekeeping system and ensure accurate data entry.
- Calculate and process payroll deductions and garnishments.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro) and timekeeping systems.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and journal entries related to payroll.
- Ability to interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements or complex pay structures specific to manufacturing operations.
