The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Allendale seeking experienced Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding for manufacturing expenses.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Generate customer invoices and statements accurately and promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts for overdue accounts.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to AP/AR.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing high volumes of transactions.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Familiarity with the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles in manufacturing
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
- Experience with expense reporting software (e.g., Concur, Expensify)
