The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Zeeland seeking experienced Payroll Specialists. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare related journal entries.
• Administer timekeeping systems and resolve employee timecard issues.
• Manage year-end payroll activities, including W-2 generation.
• Calculate and process deductions for benefits, garnishments, and other withholdings.
• Collaborate with HR and finance departments on payroll-related matters.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro) and timekeeping systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including multi-state compliance.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation and month-end close processes related to payroll.
• Ability to interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements or union contracts to payroll processing.
