Respiratory Care Practitioner

Role Overview: Provides respiratory care to diverse patient populations, including therapeutic treatments and bedside diagnostic procedures. Key Responsibilities: Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans, performs patient evaluations, and adjusts treatments accordingly. Acts as a preceptor for students and new staff to support their learning and integration. Complete patient assessments and deliver appropriate respiratory therapies. Assist in training and mentorship of new hires and students. Maintain accurate documentation of care plans and procedures. Qualifications & Skills: Must graduate from a respiratory therapy program, hold a valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, and possess a current Indiana State license. CPR certification is required, with ACLS and NRP certifications preferred or obtainable within 6 months. Additional Requirements: Ability to be on call, lift up to 30 pounds, and adapt to various clinical settings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
