Role Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff in a surgical unit, ensuring quality patient care and clinical objectives are met. Responsibilities Assigns, directs, and evaluates staff; assesses patient care needs; develops care plans; collaborates with advanced practice providers; monitors care effectiveness; handles complaints; participates in hiring and training; maintains safety standards; performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program; minimum one year of RN experience. Skills & Requirements Strong leadership, communication, and assessment skills; physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient care tasks; valid RN license and BLS certification for the respective state; physical stamina for frequent movement and lifting.
