We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to leaders across global operations, helping drive workforce initiatives, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and HR compliance.This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, navigating complex employee relations matters, and building scalable HR programs across diverse international teams.San Diego, CA (Torrey Pines) - Full-Time OnsiteWhat You'll DoServe as the primary HR Business Partner supporting international operations across India, Japan, and CanadaPartner with leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and workforce plansProvide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational developmentLead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution activitiesDevelop and maintain HR policies and programs that meet both local employment requirements and corporate standardsEnsure compliance with international employment laws and labor regulationsCollaborate with HR, Legal, and business leaders to support globally aligned initiativesAnalyze compensation, benefits, and workforce data to provide actionable recommendationsDrive talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiativesUtilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and support business decisionsBuild strong relationships across multiple cultures, functions, and time zonesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field10+ years of progressive HR experienceSignificant experience supporting international employees and operationsExperience developing and implementing HR policies across multiple countries, particularly India, Japan, and CanadaStrong knowledge of international employment laws and HR compliance requirementsExtensive employee relations experience with the ability to independently manage sensitive and complex situationsExperience supporting organizations with 300+ employees in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical skills with experience evaluating workforce, compensation, and benefits dataExcellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work onsite in San DiegoPreferred QualificationsSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar HR certificationExperience within aerospace, defense, technology, manufacturing, or other regulated industriesKnowledge of Canadian employment law and broader international labor practicesExperience supporting global mobility programs and international workforce initiativesFamiliarity with HRIS systems, analytics, and reporting toolsExperience leading workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development efforts across global teamsJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of San Diego, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.401k, health and medical benefits, etcWorkplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in San Diego, CA.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Sep 11, 2026.About Aston CarterAston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
