Full-Stack Developer

DPP is seeking a Full-Stack Developer for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.


Work location : Partial onsite (Tues., Wed., Thurs. and as needed onsite; WFH Mon. & Fri.) in Columbia, SC
Duration : 12 months
Terms : W2 contract
Note : Onsite 5 days/week may be required while training.


Position summary:

• Developers on this team attend a daily team meeting to discuss progress, upcoming tasks, and any blockers.
• The focus is on performing design and coding tasks, resolving issues as they arise, and participating in meetings related to various projects.
• Communication, collaboration and leadership are important to this small team.
• Presentation skills are needed for speaking and presenting in front of leadership and customers.

About the team:

• The Corp App/Desktop team is a small, close-knit group of 3-4 developers.
• The team is highly collaborative, with members committed to knowledge sharing and always willing to support one another.
• Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM - OT, On Call, Weekends and off hours when necessary

Required technologies:

• Full-Stack Development
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• React, Angular, Vue
• HTML5, CSS3, Java, Node.JS, RESTful API, OAuth, JWT, SSO

Nice to have:

• API gateways
• Integration platforms

Minimum required work experience:

• 6 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience

Required education/equivalencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
• OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
• OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
