Kaufman Hospitality is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in Scottsdale, Arizona. We’re looking for a hands on leader who brings out the best in people, creates memorable guest experiences, and knows how to run a successful restaurant. In this role, you’ll oversee restaurant performance, develop your team, and maintain high standards for food quality, service, and hospitality. Job Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations to deliver consistent food quality, attentive service, and an exceptional guest experience. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain team members and managers. Build a positive workplace that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth. Manage budgets and profit-and-loss performance, including sales, labor costs, food costs, and operating expenses. Prepare staff schedules, oversee timekeeping, and coordinate accurate payroll processing. Oversee purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, and waste reduction. Partner with kitchen and service leaders to maintain smooth operations during every shift. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally. Implement company policies and maintain compliance with applicable food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety requirements. Maintain restaurant cleanliness, equipment readiness, and facility standards. Support local marketing, community relationships, and restaurant events to encourage repeat business and sales growth. Job Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Minimum of 3 years of responsibility for restaurant budgets and profit-and-loss performance. Strong knowledge of front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including staffing, purchasing, inventory, and food safety. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop successful teams. Financial management skills, with the ability to analyze results and take action to improve performance. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. A guest-focused approach and the ability to remain composed during busy service periods. Experience using restaurant point-of-sale, scheduling, and inventory systems. Current food safety certification preferred; ability to obtain any certifications required for the role. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
