Job Description
WCL is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator who is safety oriented and driven to lead. This role involves operating heavy equipment on local sites, working closely with a medium-sized team, and reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. The ideal candidate will consistently adhere to safety standards while performing routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavator and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Support teamwork to meet project goals and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation and safety compliance
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Problem-solving and time management skills
