Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring critical care experience and AHA ACLS/BLS certification.

Job Details

• ICU unit within a Level IV Trauma facility with 10 beds,
• Critical care specialty with patient ratio of 1:2,
• Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, DKA, COPD exacerbation, post heart cath, CHF, and post-op patients,
• Equipment used includes Baxter pumps and Tele Access Critical Care monitoring,
• MedHost EHR experience preferred,
• Night shift schedule with every other weekend required (6 shifts within a 6-week schedule),
• No call requirements,
• May float if needed,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required,
• AHA ACLS and AHA BLS certifications required,
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required,
• Critical care experience required,
• Registered Nurse education required,
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients with complex medical needs,
• Positive attitude and self-motivated personality are a strong fit for this unit,
• Black scrubs required per facility dress code,
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate,
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months,
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
