HP Retail Sales Representative

Job Type: Regular Work Location: Best Buy 264, Columbia, SC 29212 Pay: $16.50 per hour Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs. Overview Become a Part-Time HP Retail Sales Associate! Responsibilities Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their needs. Engage and build rapport with customers, creating a memorable experience. Maintain professional relationships with store management and staff. Train retail store associates on HP products and services. Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo readiness. Accurately document and report sales activities and competitive insights. Assist customers by escorting them to displays, assessing needs, and suggesting suitable products. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Ensure workstation/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable at all times. Submit all paperwork completely and accurately. Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months of prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Strong customer focus and ability to sell products while overcoming objections. Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training. One‑year job experience required. Retail or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus. Training or product demonstration experience is a plus. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
