Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or similar support role within educational settings
• Familiarity with accommodating special education plans or working directly with students with unique learning needs
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Open availability through the week to meet evolving scheduling needs, including potential short-notice assignments
• Capacity to adapt to various grade levels and caseloads, as environments and student needs may shift
• Energetic, reliable, and eager to make a meaningful impact each day

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom assistance under teacher supervision, supporting instructional activities and classroom management
• Engage with students one-on-one or in small groups to foster academic, behavioral, and social development
• Adapt to different classroom environments across multiple schools in the area
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and a professional, positive presence at all times
