Part-Time Accounting Coordinator (Hybrid - Palm Beach Gardens, FL)

The Accounting Coordinator position is a hybrid role that will reside at the Palm Beach Gardens, FL site. This is a Part‑Time position. The role of the Accounting Coordinator is to perform a variety of routine and non‑routine accounting and clerical functions in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. This role supports the Pathology Finance team. Responsibilities Administrative Perform administrative duties for facility (pay local invoices, monitor/purchase supplies, arrange for services, maintain P-Card, etc.) Input purchase requisitions for office and offsite individuals Process/redirect mail including account coding of miscellaneous cash receipts Work with vendors to ensure accurate billing of invoices and payment status Handle 'live check' paperwork and submit for deposit Perform additional duties and assist with other projects/department needs upon request from management Finance Generate, assemble and distribute presentations/reports in both Excel and Power Point Assist with fixed assets and various capital purchase record keeping (template preparation, spend tracking, physical inventory review) Receive, research, and respond to employee inquiries regarding general ledger expenditure postings Code invoices for processing and obtain appropriate approvals based on Authorization Matrix Assist with month end reporting packages and other pre/post close items Assist with daily and monthly volume reporting Preparation of Journal Entry and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts Perform additional duties and assist with other projects/department needs upon request from management Qualifications Education Preferred Academic Associates degree or equivalent college credits Work Experience 1 to 3 years in accounting related field preferred Other Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong organizational and communication skills Knowledge of Oracle, Essbase, Power BI a plus Demonstrated analytical abilities Equal Opportunity Employer Race/Color/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Religion/National Origin/Disability/Vets or any other legally protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr Quest Diagnostics Incorporated
