Senior Programming Lead, Oncology

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Programming Lead to oversee oncology clinical trial programming activities and data analysis initiatives. The role combines technical programming expertise with team leadership, requiring development of CDISC-compliant data packages and strategic guidance on complex trial deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee programming strategy and execution for one or more clinical trials following J&J and industry standards
- Design and develop programs supporting complex clinical data analysis, reporting, and CDISC-compliant data package creation
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to programming team members ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage vendor oversight to achieve project goals and regulatory submissions
- Contribute to departmental innovation and process improvement initiatives by leading systems and tool enhancement projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, public health, or equivalent field
- 4+ years programming or clinical data management experience in pharmaceutical/clinical trial settings
- Proficiency in SAS and knowledge of additional programming languages (R, Python, etc.)
- CDISC standards knowledge and regulatory guidelines expertise (ICH-GCP)
- Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating programming activities and leading teams
- Cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and vendor management experience
