Community Outreach Associate Location: Los Angeles, CA 90045 Pay Rate: $32–$34 per hour Classification: Non-Exempt Reports To: Marketing and Community Outreach Director Position Overview The Community Outreach Associate will maintain and strengthen existing community partnerships while identifying opportunities to develop new relationships throughout the Los Angeles area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, attending community events, building meaningful connections, and representing an organization with professionalism and warmth. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing community partners, organizations, and professional contacts. Identify and cultivate new relationships through networking, referrals, community involvement, and proactive outreach. Represent the organization at community events, meetings, programs, galas, and other gatherings. Develop relationships with broader community organizations throughout the Los Angeles area. Coordinate and participate in educational programs and outreach initiatives that increase awareness of the organization and its services. Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to community organizations, groups, and prospective partners. Represent the organization with professionalism, warmth, discretion, and integrity. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications and Desired Skills The ideal candidate is outgoing, relationship-oriented, and comfortable engaging with people face-to-face. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce or another customer relationship management (CRM) system. A college degree in a related field. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
