Role Description The Associate Pediatric Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to children and adolescents in an on-site clinical setting in Hampton, VA. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing examinations, diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and delivering restorative, preventive, and emergency care. The role involves educating patients and caregivers on oral hygiene, collaborating with dental assistants and hygienists, and maintaining accurate, compliant clinical documentation. The Associate Pediatric Dentist will also support practice protocols, participate in case discussions, and contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment. This position is on-site and requires consistent presence during scheduled clinical hours. Qualifications Valid DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school and completion of a pediatric dentistry residency (or strong pediatric experience). Active Virginia dental license (or eligibility to obtain) and current CPR/BLS certification. Clinical proficiency in pediatric preventive care, restorative procedures, behavior management, and management of dental trauma. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary dental team. Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and adherence to infection control and safety standards. Ability to work on-site in Hampton, VA, manage a consistent patient schedule, and maintain organized, accurate clinical records. Experience with digital radiography and modern dental software systems is preferred.
