Chaplain

Role Overview The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of patients in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain implements the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility. Qualifications Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, or related religious studies accepted by chaplaincy board certifying organizations; or equivalent education/experience. Completed four clinical pastoral education units. Obtains National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire.
