• Obtain and document patient vital signs
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits and procedures
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical documentation
• Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
• Support patient intake, registration, scheduling, and follow-up
• Communicate test results and provider instructions as directed
• Help manage patient flow in a high-volume urgent care setting
• Maintain inventory and ensure exam rooms remain stocked and organized
• Collaborate with providers and teammates to deliver exceptional patient care

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Experience working in a clinic, urgent care, physician office, or similar healthcare setting
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Phlebotomy or blood draw experience
• Experience supporting multiple providers or specialties
• Interest in professional growth and long-term career development

Monday - Friday

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

(Flexibility to stay until 6:00 PM as needed)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
