SAP FICO Analyst Techno - Functional Role Permanent Position Charlotte, NC - Hybrid We’re seeking a Senior Techno-Functional SAP FICO Analyst to lead efforts around the design, implementation, and support of core SAP Finance and Controlling modules. This role partners closely with business and IT stakeholders around the world to enhance financial processes, deliver technical solutions, and maintain system reliability at scale. Key Duties and Responsibilities Spearhead configuration and enhancements of SAP Finance and Controlling components such as General Ledger, AP/AR, Treasury, Taxation, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis. Serve as a key partner to business leadership by translating finance and operational needs into scalable SAP solutions. Recommend and execute improvements to the SAP landscape aligned with evolving business goals and leading practices. Work with other SAP teams to support end-to-end integration across SD, MM, PP, and related modules. Apply technical skills in ABAP debugging, system configuration, and the use of enhancements, user exits, and BAPIs. Contribute to global SAP operations by improving workflows, resolving complex issues, and enhancing overall system performance. Support data migration efforts and maintain transactional and reporting integrity across finance functions. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members. Ensure SAP systems are compliant with financial standards such as GAAP and IFRS, embedding appropriate controls as needed. Document clear and consistent functional and technical specifications for ongoing system development. Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP FICO including both configuration and development. Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to travel internationally or within the Americas (up to 10%). Strong ABAP debugging knowledge and familiarity with SAP development environments. Proven integration experience across core SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PP. Sharp analytical thinking with the ability to solve problems and communicate effectively across diverse teams. Comfortable working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones. Interest or experience in automation and AI within the SAP ecosystem. Experience with SAP Object-Oriented Programming. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is only available for current Continental employees. Preferred Experience Deep understanding of financial and controlling functions in a global enterprise setting. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, including experience with migrations or upgrades.
