\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION: \n
\nThe new physician will see patients in skilled nursing facilities and be remotely supported by a robust clinical and administrative team.\n
\n
\nA low volume of patients are seen per day, allowing ample time to focus on all needs and to provide proper attention and support.\n
\n
\nThe duties of the role may include:\n
\n
\n- provide high-quality complex geriatric care\n
\n- ensure engagement with facility leadership, other providers, patients, and families\n
\n- supervise nurse practitioners\n
\n- collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed\n
\n- participate in the on-call schedule\n
\n- attend trainings and meetings as required\n
\n
\nThe practice uses an EHR on a mobile-based platform.\n
\n
\n
\n
\nREQUIREMENTS:\n
\n- Virginia medical license\n
\n- DEA\n
\n- Board Certification, relevant field (Internal / Family Medicine, Geriatrics, etc.)\n
\n- 2+ years relevant clinical practice experience\n
\n
\n
\n
