Desktop Support Technician

Desktop Technician Required Skills & Experience: 1+ year of hands-on IT support experience. Experience troubleshooting desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and peripheral issues. Experience imaging and configuring computers for end users. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact directly with employees and stakeholders. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with Microsoft MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager). Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience. Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. CompTIA A+ or other desktop support certifications. Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Technician for a leading insurance client. This individual will join the IT support team and serve as a key resource for end-user technology support. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, enjoys solving technical issues, and is comfortable working directly with employees in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include imaging and deploying computers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing incoming tickets, and providing deskside support. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional to gain hands-on experience with enterprise technologies while supporting a large-scale desktop environment. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite, collaborating with IT teams, and occasionally supporting after-hours deployments during office moves and technology initiatives. Insight Global
