Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Fort Mitchell, KY . This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise and exceptional customer service skills, as technicians regularly interact with end users both remotely and in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support for end users in a Windows-based environment.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop hardware and software.
- Respond to technical support requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting agency users.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and connectivity support.
- Document issues, resolutions, and support activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on desktop support experience .
- Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software in a Windows environment.
- Basic network troubleshooting knowledge and skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and objects.
- Ability to work in confined or uncomfortable positions for extended periods when necessary.
- Willingness to travel locally to provide on-site support.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems, hardware deployment, and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
