Jamestown Dental Practice seeking
DENTAL HYGIENIST 2 days per week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to work 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, have excellent clinical skills, and a positive attitude. As a part-time member of our team, youll play an important role in delivering high-quality preventative care, educating patients, and ensuring a positive dental experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
* Take and develop dental x-rays
* Assess patients oral health, including reviewing medical histories and conducting screenings for signs of oral disease
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventative care
* Assist in identifying potential treatment needs and collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans
* Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
* Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
* Assist in the smooth running of the clinic, ensuring a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
* Valid Dental Hygienist license in NYS
* Current CPR certification
* Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist (preferably in a clinical setting)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
* Willingness to work on a flexible schedule (1-2 days per week)
Schedule:
2 days per week with potential for more hours based on availability and patient needs. Flexible schedule options available.
