The College of Education and Human Services at LindenwoodUniversity invites applications for an Assistant/AssociateProfessor of Educational Leadership. Qualified applicants will possess a doctorate in education withspecialization in curriculum and instruction, schooladministration, district administration, or higher educationadministration. The successful candidate will be expected to teach4 courses ( 3 credit hours) each semester. Preference will be givento candidates with experience teaching online. All Lindenwoodfaculty members are expected to advise and mentor students,continue to develop their expertise through research andscholarship, and participate in faculty governance and campuslife. The Assistant/Associate Professor of Educational Leadership is afull-time, 9-month faculty position that will begin August 13,2026. Review of applications will begin July 20, 2026 and willcontinue until July 27th. The primary roles and responsibilities associated with thisposition include teaching doctoral level coursework, serving as adissertation chair and/or committee member, and advisingstudents. Decision-Making & Analytical Skills: Ability to defineproblems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;ability to organize and express ideas, directions, and data in alogical sequence to describe a process or explain procedures, suchas how to perform a task; and ability to deal with abstract andconcrete variables. Technological & Related Skills: Ability to use currenttechnology to enhance effectiveness including but not limited tocomputers, computer-assisted instruction programs, and audio-visualequipment; willing to learn and apply any other new technologynecessary to enhance learning; working knowledge of Microsoft Word,Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Canvas (LMS), CAMS (SIS), and Workday(EIS); and ability to use phones, fax machines, printers, scannersand copiers. Work Environment Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated withthe performance of this job’s functions. Unless a faculty position is designated as fully remote, allfull-time faculty positions are designated as non-standard flex.On-campus presence is required and is deemed necessary to performthe position expectations.
