POSITION SUMMARY

Performs a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse and manufacturing plant with a forklift.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR DUTIES

• Loads and unloads raw materials, packaging and finished goods and verifies quantities are correct on bills be shipped and all incoming bills and marks or tags pallets as required.
• Ensures that all required raw materials and packaging are staged on production lines as needed.
• Ensures that all finished goods are removed from production lines, wrapped properly and accounted for on recaps to insure inventory is accurate at all times. Places finished product in either the cooler or freezer as required.
• Ensures that all equipment is in good operating and safe condition.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Must be physically capable of rapid, unimpeded movement to all applicable production area. Must be capable of reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and pulling as required in production operation. Ability to lift 50 lb. bags, boxes of ingredients and packaging.
• Ability to monitor all temperatures and adjust for any deviations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Certified experience in forklift operation.

DESIRED EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalence.
