Why our Veterinary Assistants/Technicians Love It Here A fun, supportive, and family‑like team environment A culture where teamwork matters and coworkers genuinely help one another A part‑time, four‑day‑per‑week schedule with rotating Saturdays Opportunities to use the veterinary skills you already have while continuing to build new ones Training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities A workplace where questions are welcomed and learning is encouraged Teammates who celebrate wins, share a few laughs, and support one another through challenging days Leadership that values your experience, personality, ideas, and contributions Meaningful work helping pets and the people who love them What our Veterinary Assistants/Technicians Do Assist veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians during patient appointments, treatments, and procedures Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information Provide safe, compassionate handling and restraint for canine and feline patients Perform blood draws and collect diagnostic samples based on experience and training Assist with laboratory testing and sample preparation Prepare medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Provide attentive patient care and monitoring Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about their pets' care Assist with client education and reinforce veterinarian recommendations Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records Clean, organize, stock, and maintain exam and treatment areas Collaborate with teammates to maintain an efficient daily workflow Jump in wherever needed to support patients, clients, and coworkers Provide plenty of compassion and attention to our four‑legged patients What You'll Bring Previous hands‑on veterinary clinic experience High school diploma or equivalent Veterinary Technician registration is welcomed but not required Part‑time availability with the ability to work rotating Saturdays Confidence handling dogs and cats safely and compassionately Strong client‑service and communication skills Dependability, professionalism, and a positive attitude A collaborative, team‑first mindset Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a busy environment Willingness to ask questions, learn new skills, and continue growing professionally A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed A genuine passion for veterinary medicine, pets, and the people who love them A sense of humor is always appreciated!
