Field Application Specialist - Ambr Focus - Mid-Atlantic/Southeast Region

Sartorius seeks a Field Application Specialist to support upstream bioprocessing customers across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. The role involves technical consultations, application trials, customer training, and troubleshooting for Ambr bioreactor systems and related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support customer evaluations and technical consultations, translating process requirements into product recommendations
- Design and coordinate application trials, validations, and proof-of-concept activities with documentation
- Troubleshoot technical inquiries and process challenges, coordinating corrective actions across functions
- Contribute technical expertise during opportunity development and competitive positioning
- Collect customer feedback and field observations to inform product management recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of application support or technical support in upstream bioprocessing environments
- Hands-on experience with Ambr bioreactors and customer workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in customer environments
- Strong customer orientation and complex technical communication skills
- Willingness to travel more than 50% in Mid-Atlantic/Southeast territory
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation: $90,000-$116,530 base, plus sales incentive plan and car allowance
