Job Title: Corporate Services Card Program Support Specialist
Location: Torrance, CA
What the Position Is About:
You would be responsible for the day-to-day administration of several card programs for a credit union, including:
- Issuing and loading gift cards
- Managing inventory and shipments
- Tracking card activity and records
- Supporting cardholders via phone and email
- Investigating card usage issues and potential fraud
- Running reports and maintaining program data
- Assisting with escheatment (transferring unclaimed funds to states when required by law)
- Coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Completing required compliance training
Core Responsibilities:
Card Operations
- Fulfill card orders
- Ship cards and track delivery
- Load funds onto cards
- Manage inventory levels
- Maintain destruction logs for expired or unused cards
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate monthly program reports
- Review and update cardholder records
- Assist with semiannual escheatment reviews
- Provide weekly program status updates
Customer Service
- Respond to phone and email inquiries
- Resolve cardholder issues
- Investigate transaction and card usage problems
- Contact cardholders regarding suspicious activity
Compliance & Risk
- Support fraud-prevention efforts
- Follow regulatory and escheatment requirements
- Complete quarterly compliance training
