Sr. Agile Practitioner

Job Description Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Agile Practitioner to join our Consumer Markets Division Portfolio and Program Management Office in Newport Beach, CA. The role will catalyze teams to self‑organize, continuously improve processes, and deliver business solutions with optimal speed and quality. Responsibilities Collaborate with leadership to translate high‑level objectives into actionable, prioritized roadmaps, setting clear outcomes and value delivery expectations. Continuously align program activities with business needs, adapting plans to maximize impact and ensure strategic relevance. Lead Lean‑Agile ceremonies to streamline program flow, optimize delivery cadence, and foster a high‑performing, adaptable environment. Actively remove delivery obstacles and drive continuous improvement initiatives, empowering teams to maintain high velocity. Orchestrate collaboration on the program backlog with a focus on value‑driven prioritization, balancing immediate needs with long‑term objectives. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into actionable tasks, fostering alignment on priorities and expected outcomes. Partner with Technology and business units to strengthen alignment and tailor Lean‑Agile practices to meet maturity and needs of each portfolio. Serve as an escalation point for complex issues, implementing solutions that align with immediate needs and support long‑term goals. Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, Power BI, and Planview for real‑time insights and program performance tracking. Define and track KPIs focusing on outcome‑based value delivery. Identify and mitigate risks and resolve dependencies across portfolios. Qualifications Proven experience as an agile practitioner, especially in Product Management, Release Train Engineering, Portfolio Management, or Program Management. Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. Strong track record of implementing agile techniques in various work cultures. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to facilitate learning and development through coaching. Experience managing projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies. What Makes You Stand Out Strong understanding of technology development and delivery processes. Ability to assess organizational impacts of new initiatives. Knowledge of annuity or life insurance business. Related industry and role experience. Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $152,010.00 – $185,790.00. Additional incentive pay is available.
