Academic Advisor

Managing a student case load, the full-time remote Academic Advisor will provide educational advisement, assist students in navigating university policies, and focus on building rapport to enhance student retention and graduation rates. Key responsibilities: Manage a case load of students, providing coaching and support for persistence and success Communicate regularly with students via phone and email to foster relationships and ensure retention Collaborate with various departments to monitor student attendance and academic performance Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience in diagnosing student needs and utilizing resources for improvement Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
