Job Title

RN, Nurse Lead – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 5x8s, 0500–1700 (schedule and start times rotate)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
• Ensure all patients on the unit receive cost-effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
• Maintain the highest level of patient safety standards across the unit
• Assess and implement steps to improve the quality of the patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Demonstrated supervisory skills or prior supervisory experience
• BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) from an approved vendor
• ACLS and PALS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
• Five or more years of technical nursing experience
• Experience working in a Trauma Center setting
• Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
